Alan Rogers Review of Camping Zavelbos
Camping Zavelbos lies between woodland and moorland in a nature park of 2,000 hectares. It is a pleasant spot for nature lovers and those who love peace and quiet. There are many cycling and walking routes to enjoy in this beautiful region, alternatively you can simply relax in the peaceful campsite grounds complete with a large fishpond. There is no swimming pool but guests have free use of the pool complex at Wilhelm Tell Holiday Park (6 km). The 60 touring pitches (100-120 sq.m) all have 16A electricity (Europlug) and water. Bungalows and chalets are available to rent.
The site is next to a wooded, hilly area, which has excellent off-road cycle and walking routes. Only five kilometres away is the Hoge Kempen National Park, covering almost 60 square kilometres, and a haven for nature lovers. Guests receive a comprehensive welcome pack detailing the many local attractions. The site is open throughout the year and a children’s club runs in high season.
