Set by a stream in a valley, Camping Woltzdal is one of the many delightful sites in the Ardennes, a region of wooded hills and river valleys that crosses the borders of Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The site has 79 flat touring pitches, set on grass, amongst fir trees; all with 4A electricity and 20 of which also have water and wastewater. They are relatively open and have views of the surrounding wooded hills. A railway passes the site on the far side of the stream, but there are only trains during the day. This is a family run site with a small, friendly bar/restaurant. The stream running alongside the site is a safe swimming area for children.

In the surrounding hills, there are many kilometres of marked paths and mountain bike tracks for those wishing to enjoy the natural environment. For city life, a family ticket from the railway station close to the site is an economical and convenient way of visiting Luxembourg City with its museums, exhibitions and many other attractions. Facilities at Camping Woltzdal

The site boasts a new state-of-the-art toilet block with solar-powered water heating (access is by smart key with deposit). Large family bathrooms and accessible facilities. Laundry room. Service points for motorhomes. Reception and small shop are in the large house at the entrance where there is also a bar and a restaurant/snack bar with terrace. Children’s library/activity room. WiFi throughout (free). Play area. Boules. Mountain bike hire. Entertainment programme for children in high season.

Directions to Camping Woltzdal

Site is 6 km. north of Clervaux on the CR335 road. Leave Clervaux towards Troisvierge (N18). After 1 km. take right fork to Maulusmühle on CR335. Site is signed on right just before Maulusmühle village. Steep turn onto campsite road.
