Camping Wedderbergen is a well-established, modern site in the green heart of Groningen, with easy access to a large lake and good possibilities for walking and cycling tours and for boating through this part of Holland and even Germany. This area is said to have the cleanest air in Holland.

There are around 230 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity, water, wastewater and cable. A separate area provides hardstandings for larger units and motorhomes. There are some views over the Westerwoldsche river and shade in some areas from mature trees. Pitches at the front of the site have a jetty for small boats. To the back of the site is a large expanse of water with a sandy beach. A new 200 km mountain bike trail begins and ends at the site. The only disadvantage is a public road that runs through the site (some road noise).

Toilet block for touring units with toilets, washbasins in cabins and preset hot showers (hot water with key). Family shower rooms. Baby room. Accessible Facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Well stocked shop. Bar, canteen and snack bar. Swimming pool complex. Recreation lake with sandy beach. Indoor playroom/theatre and outdoor play area. Playing field. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Tennis. Bouncy cushion. Animal farm (petting zoo and deer viewing trails). WiFi on part of site (free).

Directions to Camping Wedderbergen

On A7 from either direction take exit 47 for Winschoten and turn right for Weddeveer. Passing through Wedde, follow the signs for the site and picnic area at Weddebergen. Continue following site signs.
