Sole Family Camping Village is a large family site on the east coast of Italy, near Ravenna. The site has 234 pitches, of which 122 are for touring units, have 6-amp hook-up points, and is shaded by tall pine trees. The site is just 300 metres from the Mediterranean Sea; you can find a large private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas here. Of course, there is the opportunity to dip in the sea and relax, but you will also find beach volleyball, beach tennis and basketball here. Given that the campsite is close to the sea, the site also offers the opportunity to swim in their on-site swimming pool, which is relatively small considering the number of visitors here but never seems overcrowded.

There are many activities to keep the whole family entertained whilst holidaying here. During high season, an animation team puts on live shows and entertainment in the evening. A children's club is available too with creative crafts, treasure hunts and sporting activities. If this wasn't enough to keep you busy, there is mini golf and a multisport pitch. There are also many restaurants on site where you can enjoy a bite to eat and enjoy a refreshing drink. These are open to the general public as well as guests staying on-site.

It is certainly worth taking a drive to Ravenna. This town, located about fifteen kilometres from the site, is renowned for its world-famous mosaics. The most beautiful mosaic works can be seen in the baptistery, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare.

Directions to Camping Villaggio del Sole

From the E55 at Ravenna continue on the E55 until it becomes the SS309. Turn right off the SS309 at SP112 towards Marina Romea. At a junction, turn right again onto Viale Italia. The site is then on the left off this road. Follow the signs to the site.
