Alan Rogers Review
Spinnaker Village is a smart, purpose-built, modern beach site set on the undulating foreshore under tall pines, with a superb beach frontage to the camping area. Whilst there are no sea views from the pitches, it is an easy 60-metre stroll to the fine white sand where there are free sun loungers and parasols. It is a pleasant walk along the beach to the resort of Marina Torre Grande, and excursions from the site could include a visit to the marine reserve of Sinis Isola di Mal di Ventre or the ruins of Tharros and Santa Christina – a Nuraghe village.
The 143 pitches are level and sandy, with 90 for touring. All have 6A electricity, and there are plenty of water taps. Cars can be parked for free in outside the site or for a fee inside the camping (but it's not possible to have the car on the pitch.) There are many neat, white buildings on site – the restaurant, a café and the inviting swimming pool with loungers are cleverly set around a large square, where family entertainment takes place.
Toilet blocks are modern, with British-style toilets, showers and accessible facilities. ). Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Small shop. Restaurant and small snack bar. Swimming pool and pool bar. Play area. Bicycle hire. Miniclub and entertainment in high season. Excursions. Torches essential. WiFi throughout. English spoken.
Take SS131 Cagliari-Oristano road then minor road to Cabras and Torre Grande. Just before Torre Grande village by large water tower take angled left turn back on yourself to site (well signed).
