Located on a promontory in a pleasant corner of the Costa Daurada with a village like atmosphere, Torre de la Mora takes advantage of its wonderful location, offering some pitches with beautiful views over the white sandy beaches and rocky promontories of the coastline. The hinterland is pine forest and there are areas where you can pitch a tent, access 6A electricity and feel close to nature. The 200 touring pitches vary in just about every way, some are on the lower flat area, including a few with beach frontage, others are on steep terraces around the promontory. Many of the higher pitches around the old coastal defence fort and building have amazing views.

It is important to select a pitch related to your level of fitness as the higher pitches and some of the lower terraces require an energetic approach (children should be supervised). We spoke to some campers who enjoyed Torre de la Mora so much they had been happily returning to the site for years. Some areas of the site reflect its age, the sports area is across a small road, which has a pleasant large pool in a garden-like setting.

Facilities at Camping Torre de la Mora

Two large and three small, heated sanitary blocks have been refurbished and are kept clean. There is a mixture of washing facilities which have hot water which fades at peak periods. Accesible facilities (careful selection of pitch is required). Washing machine. Motorhome services. Supermarket. Bar. Restaurant. Swimming pool and sports area. Play area. Club room for teenagers. Entertainment. Free WiFi in restaurant (code). Torches useful. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted. No pets in accommodation units.

Directions to Camping Torre de la Mora

From A7 (Barcelona-Tarragona) exit 32 take N340 towards Tarragona. Turn off for Punta de la Mora and site is well signed approaching the village. The final approach is via some narrow streets so watch for one way signs. Unusual entrance through a high wire fence alongside road.
