Camping Stadspark Groningen is a 6 ha. Large campsite in the Groningen City Park, approximately 3.5 km from the city centre. The site has 150 pitches, 130 of which are for touring units and have 6A electricity and 30 are fully serviced with electricity, water and drainage. Hardstanding is available for large units and motorhomes. The separate tent area is supervised directly by the manager. Cars may not be parked on the fields due to the soft ground; Caravans are placed by a campsite employee using a tractor.

The site is surrounded by water & has one entrance located at the campsite. On-site facilities include two toilet blocks and a snack bar where you can order sandwiches and breakfast for the next day. There is also a large petting zoo within the park. There is also a large children's playground located here.

Buses for the city leave from right outside and timetables and maps are provided at reception. Groningen is a very lively city with lots to do and easily accessible by bicycle.

Two sanitary blocks provide hot showers, washbasins and toilets. One is modern, and the other has been refurbished to a good standard. Family shower and baby room. Accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Café, bar and takeaway (Seasonal). Bicycle hire. Volleyball. Fishing. Canoeing. Children's playground, Petting zoo, WiFi (free).

From Assen on A28 turn left on the A7 towards Drachten. Follow signs for Stadspark and the campsite.
