This site has an attractive location in the large Po Delta National Park. Spiaggia e Mare has direct access to a fine private sandy beach. However, the site also boasts two large pools and a good range of other amenities, including a restaurant, pizzeria and a well stocked supermarket. A lively activity programme runs in July and August. The well positioned pitches are generally sandy and well shaded. They may appear a little crowded when the site is full but good management usually allows some privacy. Around half (including many of the seafront pitches) are occupied by mobile homes and chalets. The Po Delta park extends over 58,000 acres and features on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

It is a world-renowned wildlife sanctuary and there are miles of superb cycle tracks and footpaths. Further afield, the cities of Venice and Ravenna are both within easy access and excursions are organised from the campsite in peak season.

From Ferrara take the RA8 express road to Porto Garibaldi. Continue until the end of this road and follow local signs to the site.
