Camping Slatina is a well shaded terraced site, beside the fishing port of Martinscica, on a bay of the Adriatic Sea. It has 1600 pitches for touring units, most with 16A electricity, reached by steep, tarmac access roads, sloping down to the sea. Two small tractors are on hand to help visitors with caravans on and off their pitch. Pitches are large and level on a gravel base and enjoy plenty of shade and privacy from mature laurel trees. The site is tastefully landscaped with plenty of flowers and walkways leading down to the rocky beach and crystal clear waters of the Adriatic.

Cres is surrounded by reefs and little islands and the clear waters make it perfect for diving. Martinscica owes its name to the medieval church of the Holy Martin and has a Glagolite monastery, standing next to the 17th-century castle, built by the Patrician Sforza. Both are well worth a visit.

Six excellent, refurbished toilet blocks include washbasins in cabins and controllable hot showers. Accessible sanitary facilities. Laundry with sinks and washing machine. Fridge box hire. Car wash. Directions to Camping Slatina

From Rijeka head south and cross over bridge to the island of Krk then on to Vabiska. Take ferry to Merag on the island of Cres and from town of Cres follow road towards Mali Losinj. After 20 km. turn right to Martinscica where site is signed.
