Well placed for touring Sweden's Riviera and the fascinating and beautiful island of Öland, this large, family-run site, part of the Krono group, has 540 marked and numbered pitches, of which around 400 are for touring. Arranged in rows on open, well-kept grassland dotted with a few trees, all have electricity (10/16A), and 112 also have water. An unmarked area without electricity can accommodate around 60 tents. The site has about 140 long-stay units and cabins to rent.

Reception is efficient and friendly, with good English spoken. Many activities keep the children entertained in the high season, with kids' clubs hosting sports games and mini-golf tournaments. There is a large children's playground with a bouncy cushion, too. Dance evenings and live shows are also held in the evenings.

When it comes to swimming opportunities, you are spoilt for choice here as there is an outdoor saltwater swimming pool that has sun loungers and umbrellas, or you can take a walk to the beach, which consists of sand and grass and slopes very gently into the water and is safe for children. Here, you can also use the floating pontoon, complete with slides.

Nearby attractions include the 7 km. long Öland road bridge and the 400 old windmills on the island (in the 19th century, there were 2,000). The southern tip of Öland, Ottenby, is a paradise for birdwatchers. Kalmar and its castle, museums and old town on the mainland, Eketorp's prehistoric fortified village, Öland Djurpark, and the Swedish Royal family’s summer residence, Solliden, are all worth visiting.
