Camping Saint Martin is a 2-hectare flat site that will allow you to discover all the treasures of the Gorges du Tarn and the many activities of the Millau Valley. Let yourself be lulled by the song of the birds and seduced by the calm and beauty of the landscape. Located 4 km from Millau and close to its Viaduct you should find the site the perfect place to explore the Aveyron. Most touring pitches have a low hedge on three sides, some shaded, others semi shaded and the rest sunny. They are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Each of the 66 touring pitches has an electric hook-up point 10amp (European standards) on site or nearby. Do not forget your electric cable. There are also 14 mobile homes available to rent. |
You may have already deduced from the need for an enormous bridge that this is a pretty dramatic craggy, cliff and river-based landscape, lending itself superbly to canoeing, kayaking, caving, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding and the like. You will not even need to roam too far to organise your adventures, speak to the site staff. However, it is not all about the bridge in Millau. head to the Place du Maréchal-Foch to see the preserved medieval arcades and wander on to the 12th-century Belfry of Millau. Another interesting medieval site nearby is the Château Peyrelade, half an hour away by car. The ruined castle sits on a cliffside high above the valley with wonderful views towards the Gorges du Tarn.

Directions to Camping Saint Martin
From A75/E11 motorway take exit 45 to join D911 downhill to Millau. Stay on D911 until you reach a roundabout and turn right onto D809. Cross the Tarn Bridge and at the roundabout take the first exit onto D3009/D992 stay on this road to Creissels and Roujolles. Take first exit at the roundabout to join Boulevard Raymond V11 and follow site signs.
