Leebrücke is a long, narrow park in a small wooded valley beside the River Sitter. Permanent units are alongside most of the river, with touring units behind and tents in their own area at the far end. The 70 unmarked touring pitches are fairly flat, grassy or grass and gravel. In a country situation, but only a few kilometres from Lake Constance, this could be considered as a quiet alternative to the very busy lakeside sites.
Facilities at Camping Saint Gallen-Wittenbach
Sanitary facilities are of a reasonable standard in the main building, with showers on payment (no cabins). Washing machine and dryer. Shop (all season). Small snacks cooked daily. Covered terrace bar. River swimming. Play area. TV room.
Directions to Camping Saint Gallen-Wittenbach
Leave A1/(E60) at St Gallen, turn towards Wittenbach and follow site signs. In Wittenbach turn towards Bernhardzell and in 1 km. at bottom of hill, turn right after crossing River Sitter. There is a factory on one side of river, the site is on the other bank.
