Camping Saint Gabriel has been developed from an attractive ancient Provençal farm. This friendly, environmentally committed, family run site is at the foot of the Alpilles and is situated almost opposite the famous Chapel of Saint Gabriel. It is close to the mighty River Rhône, between Avignon and Arles, and is only a short distance from the interesting towns of Tarascon and Beaucaire, making it an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and historic area. The site has 68 average size pitches with 45 on grass for touring, separated with hedges and trees, most having some shade and all have 6A electricity, water and drainage.

Baux-de-Provence, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is 12 km. away. Other places to visit are Avignon, with its incomplete bridge, the historic towns of Arles and Nîmes, the wild Carmargue with its famous white horses, Tarascon with French bull fighting, St. Rémy de Provence and several famous French vineyards including the Bouches du Rhône area.

Directions to Camping Saint Gabriel

The site lies close to the D570N Avignon to Arles road approx. 27 km. south of Avignon. At roundabout take D32 east for 200 m. turn south west, local road to site approx. 100 m. (Large sign off Route de Fontielle).
