Situated in the ‘Venice of Spain’, Empuriabrava is interlaced with inland waterways and canals, where many residents and holidaymakers moor their boats directly outside their expensive homes on the canal banks. Camping Rubina Resort is a large friendly site 200 m. from the wide, sandy beach, which is bordered on the east and west by the waterway canals. It is a spacious and hospitable site where people seem to make friends easily. There are 500 touring pitches of varying sizes, most enjoying some shade. All have 10A electricity and water connections. Access throughout the site is very good.
The restaurant and bar are close to the site entrance and the meals so popular that locals use it too. The new modern pool is on an elevated terrace surrounded by trees and grassy areas, with a children’s pool adjoining. A small river runs through the site. Temporary moorings for boats at Empuriabrava on request. The sea breeze appears regularly during the afternoon, so watersports are very good and hire facilities are available. The site has many cycle paths and is very convenient for the marina, shops and supermarkets, and also for the surrounding towns and countryside.
