Camping Rožac occupies a small, well-shaded peninsula on the island of Ciovo, which is connected to the 2,800-year-old town of Trogir by a bridge. There are 120 touring pitches on level ground with some terracing. The majority have 16A electricity (2-pin plug) and are arranged in unmarked areas on a gravel/grass standing. Grassy pitches with plenty of shade and partially shaded sandy pitches. One side of the site has a reasonably wide beach made up of pebbles, ideal for sunbathing; from here there are excellent views over the water to the distant coastline.

From the site entrance, there is easy access to the facilities of the nearby town — some road and aircraft noise during the daytime, but a quiet site at night. The campsite is situated directly on the sea, surrounded by a pebble beach and hidden in a pine wood. Rožac is 1,5 km from Trogir, pronounced by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1997.

Location

From coast road E65 follow signs for Togir then Togir centre. Over bridge left and follow road to second bridge then right. Site is on right-hand side after 2 km. Note: The road in town is narrow and twisty in places. Extra care needed if towing or in a large unit.
