Alan Rogers Review

In the picturesque Drau valley, southeast of Klagenfurt, Rosental Roz has magnificent views along the valley and of the cliffs that form the Austrian southern border with Slovenia. The site is also close to Italy. There are 430 pitches (all for touring) and 16 mobile homes to rent around a small swimming lake with water slide. All pitches have 16A electricity and 50 pitches also have water and drainage. An active children’s club provides lots to occupy the youngsters and guided walks for adults are organised from the campsite.

This attractive, family run site caters for all members of the family. The first floor restaurant is cleverly designed to allow dining in all weathers – it has a terrace and two semi-protected areas with views over the valley. The Drau cycle way passes the site and provides endless kilometres for cycling or rambling. In addition, reception can provide helpful advice and a range of tourist information.
