A very pleasant, traditional family campsite which has been established for over 30 years on the quieter side of Marseillan-Plage. Its entrance is beside the river providing access to the Etang du Thau, famous for its mussels and oysters. The site provides 102 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity, in addition to a range of mobile homes to rent. To the rear of the site there is good shade from tall trees but rather less at the front. A coded gate allows direct access to the beach. Facilities here are good for a small site where, in July and August, a range of sporting events and evening entertainment takes place.

A trip to Marseillan town would make a pleasant day out. The port is a lovely place to enjoy a meal and it is possible to have an English-speaking guided tour. Other places of interest include Cap d’Agde with its large marina and the port and seaside resort of Sète, often referred to as the ‘Venice of Languedoc’.

Directions to Camping Robinson

From A9 take exit 34 and the N312 towards Agde. Continue past the turning to Cap d’Agde towards Sète for about 5 km. Proceed straight over two roundabouts at Marseillan-Plage and follow signs for Est Plage. Site signed on right.
