Looking up through the trees in this steeply terraced campsite next to the Cadi-Moixero Natural Park, you see the majestic Pedraforca mountain, its amazing rugged peak in the shape of a massive stone fork giving it its name. Access to the site is via a steep, curving road which could challenge some units. There are 200 pitches, including 100 for touring, all with electricity (5/10/16A) and 15 with connection to water and waste water. They vary in size and accessibility, although there are suitable pitches for larger units. The long scenic drive through the mountains to reach the site is breathtakingly beautiful. The area provides excellent walking for all levels of ability.
There are good summer and winter facilities including an indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym complex, a large outdoor pool, rooftop relaxation area and upstairs social room, excellent restaurant and popular bar, plus some log cabins to rent. This is generally a very environmentally conscious campsite. The natural beauty of the area, pretty villages, flora and fauna, wonderful walks, and interesting local attractions including sea salt mountains and historic coal mines are what attract people to this area. It is also an ideal starting point for hiking trips in the mountains.

Two clean, modern sanitary blocks (one updated 2012) are fully equipped (but at peak periods there may be queues). Accessible Facilities . Separate family room with baby baths, etc. Washing machines and dryer. Shop and bar (1/4-31/10). Restaurant and takeaway (20/6-10/9). Heated indoor swimming pool, gym and spa. Outdoor pool (15/5-10/9). Play areas. Football and basketball pitches. Entertainment in high season. Games and social rooms. Rooftop relaxation area. Free WiFi on part of site. Charcoal barbecues only. Torches required.
Directions to Camping Repos del Pedraforca
Saldés is west of Guardiola de Berguedà, 125 km. north of Barcelona. From the C16 Manresa-Berga road 2 km. south of Guardiola de Berguedà turn west towards Saldés. Site is in 13.5 km. and is well signed.
