An orderly, well designed site with a feeling of spaciousness, Delle Rose is on the east side of Lake Garda, three kilometres from the attractive waterside village of Peschiera. The 455 pitches are of average size, most with grass and shade, and laid out in 30 short, terraced avenues. The ratio of recreational area to pitches is unusually high, particularly for sites at Lake Garda. Unusually, reception is located one third of the way into the site. On approach one sees the attractive restaurant, gardens and comprehensive sporting facilities including the pool complex with its stylish terraced bar and entertainment area close by.

There is a large car park at the modern reception centre where many languages including English and Dutch are spoken. The well stocked grocery market, general store selling fresh vegetables, and the medical centre are centrally located. At the lake a small, curved sandy beach is contained by a low wall. The water’s edge is pebbled and shallow, but a long jetty extends into the water with a ladder giving easy access to deeper water. Boat launching is at the narrow end of the beach where there is a small beach bar. Ample boat and trailer parking is available behind the supermarket. Ideally designed for families, with sporting and recreational areas totally separate, leaving the pitch area as a peaceful zone.

Five very clean, modern sanitary blocks have hot water throughout and British style toilets, some in cabins with washbasins. Private bathrooms for hire. Good baby rooms. Accessible Facilities. Washing machines. Motorhome services. Fridge hire. Bar/restaurant, takeaway and pool bar serving snacks. Shops. New swimming pool with flumes (mid April-Sept). Tennis. Archery. Minigolf. Play area and miniclub. Fishing (with permit). Beach at site. Watersports. Kayaking. Windsurfing. Daily medical services. Entertainment programme in high season. Excursions. Dogs and motorbikes are not accepted. Torches useful. WiFi on part of site (charged).

Directions to Camping Park Delle Rose

From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take exit for Pescheria, west of Verona. Travel north towards Lazise. The campsite is on the southeastern lakeside 2.5 km. north of Pescheria and well signed.
