A member of the Parc Saint-James Group, this attractive campsite is very well positioned close to Saint Tropez. The majority of the pitches are occupied by privately owned mobile homes and chalets plus 127 bungalows for hire, but there are also 30 touring pitches on the lower part of the site. The 30-hectare estate clings to the hillside with fragrant woodland providing good shade to the mainly terraced pitches. There is a good range of activities here, many concentrated around the large, heated pool complex. There are plans to include another heated fun pool area with flumes and jacuzzi. The gradients on the site may make it a challenging choice for those with walking difficulties.
In high season, the activity and entertainment programme is popular and includes soirées on the site’s attractive bar terrace. The site lies close to many places of interest – Saint Tropez is close at hand, as well as Ramatuelle with its famous beach of Pampelone. The site is also well located for Port Grimaud, Sainte Maxime and Gassin itself with a range of restaurants offering superb views over the gulf.

Five worn, dated toilet blocks provide barely adequate facilities with few hot showers. accessible facilities in one block. Laundry. Small supermarket, bar, restaurant and takeaway (9/4-15/9). Heated outdoor swimming pools and separate children’s pool (9/4-30/9). Play area. Tennis. Multisports area. Games room. Children’s club. Evening entertainment. Disco. Only electric barbecues. Mobile homes and chalets for rent. WiFi in some areas (charged).
Directions to Camping Parc Saint James-Parc Montana
From A8 take Le Muy exit and follow signs for St. Tropez and La Croix-Valmer. Pass Ste. Maxime and continue on the N98. At large roundabout take signs to Gassin and Croix-Valmer. Cross first roundabout and turn left at next traffic lights. Site is also signed as Parc Montana in places. Do not drive through Gassin – the roads are very narrow.
