Terrassen Camping Ossiacher See is a gently terraced site, protected by rising hills with lovely views across the lake to the mountains beyond. Trees, flowers, hedges and bushes abound, adding atmosphere to this neat and tidy site. The 429 level pitches, all with electricity, are in rows on the level grass terraces separated by hard roads and some divided by hedges. A separate area (40-50 pitches) is provided for campers with dogs. Good English is spoken.

The site does become full in high season, and although there is sufficient room on the pitches, it may give the initial impression of being overcrowded. The thick growth of reeds at the water’s edge all around the lake means that access is limited to two small clearings within the site.

One of these has a beach for bathing and a jetty, and boats may be launched from the other. A friendly, lively site with entertainment for all ages to enjoy daily with plenty of sporting opportunities to be had in a scenic location in a very beautiful part of Austria.

Five well maintained sanitary blocks are heated in cool weather, some with washbasins in cabins. Ten family washrooms (charged), baby rooms and accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Restaurant (Seasonal). Well-stocked supermarket. ATM. High-season entertainment programme. Beach volleyball. Trampoline. Playgrounds, games rooms and disco courtyard. Directions to Camping Ossiacher See

Site is directly on the lake shore, 1.5 km. southwest of Ossiach village. Leave the A10 at exit 178 for Ossiacher See, turn left on road B94 towards Feldkirchen and shortly right to Ossiach Sud. The site is shortly before Ossiach.
