Camping Naturiste Messidor is idyllically situated in a land of pine forests, but just 3 km. from a wide range of shops. Its 77 spacious pitches (50 for touring) are partially shaded, with 4/6A electricity hook-up. They are spread over ten hectares and set out in terraces, so the site is not recommended for campers with reduced mobility. There are also mobile homes available to rent.

Each week, the resident donkeys, Papouille and Mistral, roam the site to the great joy of the children and the site is just one hour from the Sainte Victoire mountain (the inspiration for many of Paul Cézanne’s paintings) for scenic trips out.

Other sites of interest are the beaches of Les Calanques (rocky inlets between Marseilles and Cassis), the Lubéron country park, the Gorges of the Verdon, and the wild landscape of the Camargue. There are numerous festivals in the area - an opera festival in Aix-en-Provence, a piano festival in la Roque d’Anthéron, dance and theatre in Avignon, and photography in Arles.

Swimming pool (1/5-15/9). Boules. Play area. Weekly donkey rides for children (July/Aug). Two tennis courts. Club house. Free WiFi in bar. Bus stop at entrance.

Directions to Camping Naturiste Messidor

From Lyon on A7 take exit 26 Sénas, join N7 to Pont Royal, turn left (D561) to Charleval, then to Le Puy Ste Réparade. In Le Puy Ste Réparade join D13, cross canal and immediately take the second road on right. Site signed.
