Camping Naturista Almanat
Spain, Andalucia, Málaga, Almayate
Alan Rogers Review
With direct access to a one-kilometre grey sand and shingle naturist beach, this established, all-year naturist site, set amongst agricultural land with a mountain backdrop, is proving a firm favourite with many British campers seeking winter sun. The facilities are of a very high standard. The entire two-hectare site is flat with a fine shingle surface. A large number of mature trees provide much-needed shade in the summer months.
The 194 touring pitches with 8-20A electricity, vary in size and shape with the majority demanding physical manoeuvring of a touring caravan. Some pitches are long and narrow, which could prevent the erection of an awning and you may feel quite close to your neighbour. English is spoken at the modern reception adjacent to the security barrier. Torre del Mar is 2 km. with many shops, restaurants, a street market on Thursdays and an Internet café. Fourteen bungalows are available to rent.
The large, unisex toilet block is fully equipped, regularly cleaned and all under cover. Good facilities for disabled campers near reception. Small shop. Bar/restaurant with terrace. Large unheated swimming pool. New indoor pool with jacuzzi (closed 15/6-15/9). Sauna and gym. Cinema (56 seats). Social room. Play area. Minigolf. Weather permitting, nudity is obligatory in the pool area and bar during the day.
From east or west on N340 autovia take exit 265 signed Cajiz/Iznate and Costa 340a. Follow Costa signs and on reaching the coast turn left on N340a toward Torre del Mar. Site well signed in 5 km. on right. Turning left from the east (Torre del Mar) is not permitted.Link to campsite location map on google
