Alan Rogers Review of Camping Municipal Parc du Château d‘Eu
In the grounds of the Château d’Eu, the setting for this site is quite lovely, even with the town of Eu only minutes away. On entering the site, there is a long woodland area and park providing excellent picnic opportunities with lots of shade. The main building on a bank to one side of the site houses reception, recreation rooms and the sanitary unit. Of the 75 pitches, around 55 are used for touring units and there is an area of hardstanding for inclement weather. Most pitches are on grass under tall trees and all have access to electricity (6A).
Previously the property of the Princes of Orléans, the Château houses the Town Hall and a museum, and some of the rooms and the gardens are open to the public. The park gates are closed 22.00-07.00.
Facilities at Camping Municipal Parc du Château d‘Eu
The toilet unit is fairly elderly but is kept clean and can be heated. Some facilities are unisex. Laundry facilities. Showers are of good quality with an adequate provision for the size of the site which is quite small despite its initial appearance. Playground. Volleyball, basketball and boules courts.
