This attractive municipal site is surrounded by mountains and only a few hundred metres from the centre of Challes-les-Eaux. There are just over 100 level pitches, mostly for touring. Some are separated by beech hedges and mature trees offer some shade. There is a choice of pitches available, either with 6A electricity or part hardstanding super pitches with 10A electricity and another area is dedicated to tents. Rock pegs are advised. This site is a very good base for touring this scenic region and makes an ideal stop over for those en-route to the Fréjus Tunnel and Italy.

Challes is 7 km. southeast of Chambéry on the N6 to Albertville. From north on A43/A41 head south towards A41 (Grenoble/Albertville) and join N6 at exit 18. Site is on the N6 at northern edge of town, next to a small park and lake. Turn east at traffic lights, site well signed.
