Alan Rogers Review of Camping Municipal le Moulin du Teinturier
Situated on the banks of the river Maronne, le Moulin du Teinturier is close to the village of Saint Martin-Valmeroux. A footbridge provides access to the village with its various sports amenities and swimming pool (free to campers). Reception is located in an old barn which also houses some of the site’s facilities. There are 80 shady (70-100 sq.m) grassy, pitches with 6A electricity, including eight hardstanding for motorhomes. The site is an ideal starting point for hikes and there are many excellent cycle routes in the area. There are 20 chalets for hire.
The site is good for children as it has a playground with slide, swing, chicken coop and toddler games. A programme of events in high season includes guided walks, and visits to villages and Museums.
