A well run municipal site just 1 km. from the interesting old town of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon and only 4 km. from the historic walled town of Avignon, on the opposite bank of the mighty River Rhône. Avignon is easily reached by bike using the nearby ferry or by bus. There are 126 spacious touring pitches, some with 6A electricity. They are separated by some hedging, with a variety of tall trees giving welcome shade. There are no problems here for large outfits. The adjacent municipal swimming pool, skate park and tennis courts are free to campers.
The site is within easy walking distance of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon with its interesting old town and imposing Fort Saint-André high above the town. From the ramparts there are impressive views of Avignon and the surrounding country side. There are many walks and cycle routes in the area. You can also explore the beautiful regions of Provence and Cévennes.

Two well appointed, clean toilet blocks with accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Shop. Bar, restaurant, good value takeaway. TV room/library. Play area. Gas and electric barbecues only. Communal barbecue. Dogs welcome.

Leave autoroute A9 (exit 23) Remoulins. Take N100 east 17km. to Villeneuve-lez-Avignon. Turn north, D980, just before the River Rhone. Just beyond castle walls turn right at traffic lights (signed piscine and camping). Site in 200 m.
