Alan Rogers Review
The attractive town of Condom is in south west France, between the major cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. Once a stopping point on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella, it is now associated with the production of Armagnac. Its municipal campsite lies in a quiet position some 1.5 kilometres to the south of town, but it can be reached on a pleasant walk along the river. There are 68 level, grassy pitches (min. 80 sq.m) with varying degrees of shade. A quarter of these have hedges and are more private. This is a good base for exploring the area or for a short stay on the journey south. There are few amenities on site, guaranteeing a restful stay, but plenty of activities nearby in high season.
Traditional, well maintained sanitary block with hot showers and baby changing. Washing machine. Bread to order (July/Aug). Playground. Activities and entertainment (July/Aug). Barbecue area. WiFi (free).
