Alan Rogers Review
A small rural campsite on the borders of the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne. Spacious pitches have electric hooks and are nestled among 4 acres of tranquil grass and woodland with a newly renovated shower block. On-site facilities include a heated swimming pool with sun loungers and an honesty bar where you can get ice cream and a cold drink. Sip sundowners with glorious views of the surrounding farmland and vineyards. The campsite also offers free WIFI, ice dispenser, laundry facilities, and Themed evenings such as Paella nights, and the site is also Dog friendly. You don't have to venture far from your breakfast as fresh bread, croissants and eggs are delivered to your door. The Campsite owner also makes preserves from the fig and plum trees.
For those keen to explore the surrounding area, there are brochures in the reception with maps and vineyard information. The campsite owners are also more than happy to help with any questions. There are electric bikes for hire on site, making light work of exploring the hilly countryside—just 5 kilometres from the lively bastide town of Eymet and 7 kilometres from Lauzun and Miramont-de-Guyenne.
