Camping Marenland is a varied medium-sized site situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Winsum 13 km north of the city of Groningen. It is located in the heart of a rising tourist area, the so-called Maren area of the province of Groningen, or Lauwersland. Winsum is situated directly on several bicycle and walking routes, e.g. the long-distance route Pieterpad. The site has 117 pitches, of which 110 are for touring units and have 10/16-amp hook-up points and 7 log cabins or chalets for hire.

On-site facilities include Well-maintained sanitary blocks, hot showers, and a large children's playground with a large bounce pad. The restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience, serving delicious local dishes. The campsite is committed to sustainability and environmental protection. They utilise solar energy, promote waste reduction, and encourage guests to minimise their ecological footprint.
