L’Ultima Spiaggia (the ultimate beach) is an apt name as the beach really is extremely pleasant, although coarse grained. There are four superb interlinked paddling and swimming pools, and the facilities have bright, colourful décor. The 252 pitches all have 3/6A electricity, are terraced on sand and some enjoy limited sea views. The entertainment programme can be enjoyed from the terrace of the bar. The restaurant offers a variety of good food, including local seafood specialities. Half of the pitches are occupied by mobile homes but these are kept separate at the top area of the site.

Access to the beach (with lifeguard) and a variety of watersports is gained through a security gate. There is a sub aqua diving school on site, with a free dive offered to beginners. The local diving is extremely good. A sound, but rather expensive site.

Two toilet units include facilities for babies and accessible facilities, but are some way from the lower pitches. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Small supermarket. Restaurant and snack bar. Play areas. Domestic animal area with donkeys. Windsurfing, diving and sailing. Aerobics. Riding. Tennis. Minigolf. Canoeing. Bicycle hire. Miniclub. Multisports area. Entertainment (mostly in Italian). WiFi (charged). Excursions. Torches essential.

Directions to Camping l’Ultima Spiaggia

Site is on east coast of Sardinia, well signed from the main coast road, the SS125 in the village of Bari Sardo. Continue to Torre di Bari and look for signs which direct you along the seafront to the site.
