Camping L’Oustalet is in Châtel, Haute-Savoie overlooking the river La Dranse close to the France/Swizerland border. The site has a sports field, sauna, heated indoor swimming pool, toddler pool and supplies fresh bread. For Ꞓ13 per day per person, enjoy a multitude of activities including unlimited access to the ski lifts as pedestrians. In the immediate area you can enjoy Bobsled, Downhill scooter. Paragliding. Mini golf and Cycle touring. La Vieille douane (smuggling museum), Making Abondance cheese (farm visit), The little train from Châtel, Stand up paddle boarding, Fishing, Guided walks, Various cycle routes and a Synthetic ice rink. In summer and winter a communal shuttle service “Châtel Bus” is at your disposal with a stop in front of the site. This will allow you to visit the area around Châtel. The site has 92 pitches of which 68 are for touring units and have 2/10-amp hook-up point, 12 seasonal units and 12 mobile homes to hire.

Directions to Camping L'Oustalet

From the A40/E25 junction 14 near Geneva join the D1206 in the direction of Douvaine and cross the River Arve. At Douvaine turn right to join the D1005. Stay on this road to Massongy, Sceiz and La Versoie. Next turn right onto the D902. Continue to follow D902 and at a roundabout, take the 2nd exit D22 onto Route des Frasses heading to Vacheresse, Abondance and Châtel. In Châtel, turn right onto the D228A Route du Linga. Next turn right onto Route des Freinets and the site is on the left.
