Les Vagues is a fairly large site in a convenient position close to the town centre and beach at Brétignolles. There are 256 pitches with around 180 mobile homes and chalets, mostly privately owned, in their own area to one side of the site. The touring area has 76 individual pitches on grass under tall trees with electricity (6/10A). This area is closest to the excellent pool complex which has both indoor and outdoor heated pools, paddling pools, a gym and a sauna. A back gate provides a short cut to the main beach (800 m).

The town offers a variety of restaurants, shops and other services and is within easy walking distance of the site. A miniature village with a sound and light show is a short walk from the site. Other attractions nearby include Château de Beaumarchais, is a short drive inland, and the neighbouring resort of Brem-sur-Mer where the Parc d’Attractions des Dunes, an aquapark with trampolines, karting and minigolf is located.

Facilities at Camping les Vagues

Four fairly modern toilet blocks of different sizes and designs (only one is in the touring area), provide washbasins in cubicles. Washing machine and ironing boards. Accessible facilities, Bar with TV, snack bar and takeaway (all July/Aug). Indoor pool (15/4-30/9} and outdoor pool (1/5-30/9; pool bracelet deposit € 5). Sauna and gymnasium. Tennis. Playground. Free WiFi throughout.

Directions to Camping les Vagues

Brétignolles is on the D38 between Les Sables d’Olonne and St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Site entrance is on western side of D38, just north of town centre.
