Alan Rogers Review of Camping les Sablines
This is a neat and tidy site with direct access to the beach via a path over the dunes. It is owned by Homair, the French tour operator, and has 186 mobile homes of various sizes to let, with just nine touring pitches. The site is level and attractively landscaped with trees and shrubs, with grass and hedging surrounding the pitches which are linked by tarmac roads. An attractive pool area with slides is overlooked by a bar and restaurant. The site would be a good choice for families with children.
The bustling area of Valras-Plage is a typical French seaside resort with lots going on. In the main season, a tourist train connects this wonderful stretch of sandy beaches. Sablines is situated to the west, in a quieter area, with a path to the beach and Vendres’ newly developed harbour about half a kilometre further on. It is easy to access the A19 if you wish to visit Spain or Andorra.
Facilities at Camping les Sablines
There are three toilet blocks of older design if required. Small shop (bread can be ordered). Restaurant, bar and takeaway (early May-late Sept). Swimming pool with slides and paddling pool area and jacuzzi. Play area. Multisports court. WiFi (charged). Charcoal barbecues are not allowed.

From A9 exit 36 (Béziers Ouest), follow signs for Valras then Campings Plage Ouest and pick up site sign.
