Alan Rogers Review of Camping Les Prés du Verdon
This family site is attractively located close to the River Verdon and it is a good base for exploring the famous gorges. The site boasts a fine pool complex with a large main pool and separate paddling pool. There are 47 touring pitches here (70-110 sq.m), some well shaded and others rather sunnier. Most are equipped with electrical connections. A further 163 pitches are used for mobile homes and bungalow tents, most of which are available for rent. This is a great region for an active holiday. Popular activities include rafting and canoeing on the Verdon and canyoning.
The picturesque town of Quinson is close at hand, with the beautiful, deserted medieval village of Vieux Quinson above. The town’s watersports base is just 100 m. from the site where canoes, pedaloes and electric boats can be hired. Les Prés du Verdon becomes livelier in peak season with a daily activity programme, including regular events for children aged 4-12 years.

Two toilet blocks have controllable pushbutton showers and washbasins with hot and cold water. Accessible Wet room. Baby room. Swimming pool with paddling pool (from 1/5). Play area. TV room. Volleyball. Entertainment and activity programme with club for children.
Directions to Camping Les Prés du Verdon
Leave A51 at exit 18 and head east on D6 to Riez. From Riez take the D11 south east to Quinson. 0.5 km. after village, site is signed to the east.
