Les Mûres is a friendly, family site situated northeast of the busy holiday centre of Port Grimaud and has been run by the Grau and Ferrari families for four generations. The site extends over 11 hectares of undulating ground with 600 of its 669 pitches reserved for touring. This high proportion of touring pitches is relatively unusual for this area. All have 6A electricity and the pitches are generally of a good size, well shaded by mature trees. Although there is no pool, the site lies right beside a lovely sandy beach with views across the bay to Saint Tropez.
There are 200 pitches beside the sea with the rest of the site, including the reception and restaurant area on the other side of the fairly busy coast road. The two parts of the site are linked by a short pedestrian tunnel. Nearby Port Grimaud has a lively Sunday morning market and a regular ferry service across the bay to its famous neighbour, Saint Tropez. There is an excellent, safe cycle track linking all the towns on the Gulf and this may well be a good way to get around. This is particularly well-situated site at the heart of this poplar tourist area and early reservation is advised as the site becomes fully booked during high season.
