Flower Camping Les Mijeannes is in Midi-Pyrénées/Ariège near the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Natural Regional Park and  by the River Ariège. Camping Les Mijeannes is located in a quiet and peaceful area, but it is still within easy reach of all the main attractions in the area. The nearest town, Foix, is just 10 km away, and the city of Toulouse is just over an hour's drive away. This area has many mountains and outdoor options, such as climbing, paragliding, hiking and parachuting, canoeing, kayaking, horse riding, paintballing, go-karting, and climbing. The site has teamed up with local providers to give guests a discount on all these. If all the above seems too much, excursions to local cultural sites are available, too. The site has 131 grass pitches, of which 61 are for touring units, 20 are seasonal, and 46 mobile homes, chalets, or safari tents are available to hire. 

On-site is a swimming pool, playground, and kids' club, which is arranged during the school summer holidays, as well as a bouncy castle for the little ones to enjoy. You can stay on-site for boules tournaments, football, and home ball. Rackets and balls can be borrowed for free from the campsite reception. During high season, there are various themed evenings, karaoke evenings, giant bingo, and games which are held at the campsite's restaurant.  mountain bikes are available for hire to explore the surrounding area at your own pace. canoeing is available on-site during the summer months and is supervised by a local professional for an extra charge. The Ariège River is a popular spot for fishing, with trout, carp and pike all being found in its waters (Fishing licence required).

Directions to Camping les Mijeannes

From the N20/E9  at Toulouse take exit 7 to join the D12 then the D624  towards Varilhes. In Varilhes, at the town hall (Hotel de Ville) turn onto the road towards Rieux-de-Pelleport D311. The site is signposted.
