An enthusiastic welcome awaits you from Alexis Laurence who runs Les Foulons with her husband. The 70 pitches (50 for tourers) are set out in rows, most with shade. Whilst the site is not large, it does offer an outdoor heated pool and direct river access for canoeing, swimming and fishing. In high season, entertainment programmes are arranged for children, and a bread ordering service is available. The low prices enable budget camping in a popular area of the Ardèche and a good base from which to explore the area. When accessing this site, care should be taken due to a sharp turn required at the entrance.

The site is close to Tournon-sur-Rhône (4 km. away) on the banks of the Rhône, it has tree-lined promenades and an impressive 11-16th-Century château. Just across the river is Tain l’Hermitage, famous for its steep vineyards producing both red and white Hermitage, some of the finest (and most expensive) of all Côtes du Rhône wines.

Renovated sanitary block with hot showers, may be a long walk from some pitches. Currently no chemical disposal facilities. Bar. Snack bar and bread to order. Outdoor heated swimming pool (shorts not allowed). Play area. Pétanque. Table tennis, Football field, Activity programme for children (high season). Entertainment, Fishing, river swimming.

Directions to Camping les Foulons

From A7 exit 35, signed Tain l’Hermitage, turn west on D532a, crossing river and go through town of Tournon-sur-Rhône. Follow signs for Lamastre. Site is third site of four, on the right.
