Camping Les Fontaines is a lovely site set back 1km from Lake Annecy with fantastic views over the Taillefer mountains. You feel you are away from it all, yet you are only 1km from the shoreline of the  Lake. The site is a sister site to Camping La RaVoire, just a short distance away, and both will be part of the Yelloh group in 2025. Access is good, English is spoken, and the site is close to the cycle track. The circumnavigates the Lake, an ideal base for cyclists and walkers and an ideal base for discovering the French Alps. Walking 1 km down to the lake, you can get a bus into the town of Annecy.

There are 60 touring pitches, all on level ground, with 6A electricity, and reasonably well-shaded. Several mobile homes, chalets, and teepees are available for rent. The site offers activities and entertainment suitable for all ages, an impressive sports facility, and a swimming pool, where most activities occur, from kids' clubs to aqua aerobics and aqua gym, as well as a weekly yoga class. 
Of course, you could just sit on the terrace and relax, enjoying the campsite's mountain views. An excellent restaurant and bar on-site offers a range of local specialities, such as fondue savoyarde and tartiflette. You can also grab all the essentials needed at the well-stocked shop, although three supermarkets are nearby. Wi-Fi is free but partial.

Directions to Camping les Fontaines

Site is at the southern end of Lake Annecy. From Annecy head south on N508 towards Albertville. Pass through Duingt. Then follow signs to Lathuile (to the right) and then Camping Les Fontaines.
