Alan Rogers Review of Camping les Cochards
Situated on the banks of the River Cher, Camping Les Cochards is ideally located for exploring the Loire Valley and its many attractions. Just a short drive away are the famous Beauval Zoo, Château de Chenonceau, Château Royal d'Amboise and Château de Valençay.
Les Cochards Campsite has a small heated outdoor swimming pool and a modest restaurant offering the usual campsite fare of pizza, burgers and salads. The charming village of Saint-Aignan is just a short walk away and is home to several good-quality restaurants.
As well as offering 112 good-sized pitches the site has around 20 mobile homes and safari-style tents available to rent.
Facilities at Camping les Cochards
Modest outdoor heated swimming pool with a limited number of sun loungers available. Dogs accepted Laundry with washers, dryers and iron available. Small restaurant with take away available in the high season. Bicycles, surfboards, kayaks, sailing boats and go-karts are all available to hire. WiFi throughout.
Directions to Camping les Cochards
The campsite is just south of Saint Aignan-sur-Cher on the Quai des Cochards.
