Camping Les Chambons is located on the banks of the Creuse in the vilage of Argenton-sur-Creuse with easy access to to the Brenne national park. Les Chambons is in the Centre of Indre and within strolling distance of shops and restaurants. A heated outdoor pool with slides, bubble lagoon and children's paddling pool is just outside the park entrance, with free entry for one session a day for site guests. There's a play area, bouncy castle and trampoline within the site for the children to enjoy, along with ping pong tables, pétanque and fishing. In high season you can find occasional entertainment at the campsite including karaoke and themed nights. The sixty touring pitches at Les Chambons campsite can be reserved all year round since most of these pitches are connected to electricity and running water, they offer maximum comfort even in the cooler seasons. The pitches are also spacious and offer both sun and shade. The campsite offers two new heated toilet blocks with showers, toilets and individual washbasins.
The local town is Argenton-sur-Creuse, about a kilometre and a half from Les Chambons on the handsome and lengthy Creuse river. There are several walks to enjoy around town, alongside the river and in the nearby natural park, or you could tackle the 110-kilometre trail of the Val de Creuse hiking path on its run from Saint-Plantaire to Crozant.

Directions to Camping les Chambons
From the north on the A20/E9 Orléans-Limoges leave at exit 17 and take the D927E towards Argenton-sur-Creuse. After crossing over the railway line, take the second turning on the right to follow site signs. Enter Saint-Marcel into Sat-Nav.
