Only 3.5 km. from the historic medieval town centre of Sarlat, and yet surrounded by peaceful countryside, this campsite is well suited to those seeking a relaxing and peaceful site within easy reach of the major attractions of the Dordogne. The 122 grassy pitches are mostly flat, divided by hedges or trees, with varying degrees of shade, and all have electricity (10A). The small but welcoming bar and terrace are the focal point for daily events and entertainment during high season, with activities for both adults and children. A bus service 50 m. from the campsite entrance runs six times daily into Sarlat centre.
This is a family run site and you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from the helpful owners. There are swimming and paddling pools. Canoe trips are arranged and bicycle hire is provided with a cycle path nearby. An advantage for motorhome owners is a minibus service that makes six daily round trips to Sarlat. There are many interesting places to visit locally, together with numerous offsite leisure activities which are easily accessible.

Two toilet blocks provide clean and comfortable showers, washbasins in cabins, Accessible facilities, baby bath and children’s shower, toilet and washbasin. Laundry facilities. Shop with bread to order. Bar serving snacks and takeaway (15/5-30/9). Heated swimming pool and paddling pool (10/5-25/9), with sun loungers and parasols. Play pool for children. Multisport area. Play area. Canoe excursions arranged from site. Free WiFi.
Directions to Camping les Acacias
From Sarlat follow signs for Souillac and Cahors. Pass under impressive stone railway viaduct and take second right signed La Canéda. Follow until small sports field and stadium on the left and bear right into village of La Canéda. Site is signed 500 m. on the right.
