Les 2 Lacs is a spacious family campsite, attractively situated at the heart of a 19-hectare estate, with two lakes suitable for swimming and fishing. The 70 pitches are large (minimum 100 sq.m) and surrounded by hedges. It is a good site for anglers and the 3-hectare fishing lake is stocked with bream, carp, perch and pike, amongst others. It is possible for hire rowing boats, pedaloes and canoes. The site’s bar and restaurant are located between the two lakes. There is plenty of activity in peak season with campfires, evening walks and musical evenings, but these activities do not disturb the site’s tranquillity. A walk around the site may offer the opportunity to see badgers, deer or even wild boar, with large birds of prey overhead.

The village of Beauville is 10 minutes walk from the campsite. A small supermarket, ATM and two bars can be found in its narrow streets. The campsite is equidistant from the Lot and Garonne Valleys each offering a range of water-based activities. The Lot-et-Garronne has over 4,500 km. of marked footpaths and is a hikers’ paradise. Pujols, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is a must. Cycling along the Canal de Garronne is easy going, it crosses the river Garonne in Agen where its beautiful fine arts museum can be found. Cycle routes along the Lot have perhaps more interesting scenery but are also a little more challenging. Walibi, close to Agen has a 30-hectare park with 20 attractions including an adventure trail in the trees.

One traditional toilet block has good clean facilities including controllable hot showers, washbasins in cabins, a baby bath and accessible facilities . Washing machine and dryer. Restaurant (May-Sept) and snack bar (July/Aug). New outdoor swimming pool (Apr-Oct). Fishing lakes. Bicycle, boat, pedalo and canoe hire. Country walks. Volleyball. Tennis. Play area. Location

From Cahors head west on the D656 to Tournon d’Agenais and then to St Amans du Pech. Here, head south on the D80 and then the D215 to Beauville. The site is well signed from this point.
