Camping Les 12 Cols is a terraced site in the heart of the Ain department, in the Haut-Bugey, the Plateau d'Hauteville. It is situated on a plateau at an altitude of 777 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The site has 100 grass pitches, of which 86 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point available. 14 accommodation units are also available for hire. The area around the site is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. There are many hiking and cycling trails, as well as opportunities for mountain biking, fishing, canyoning and riding.
You can also visit historical and cultural attractions such as the medieval town of Pérouges and the Royal Monastery of Brou. The major cities of Lyon, Geneva, Annecy, Aix-les-Bains, Bourg-en-Bresse and Chambéry are an hour away. On-site facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, bike hire and a tennis court. In the heart of the village, you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and bakeries.

Directions to Camping Les 12 Cols
From the A40/E21 leave at exit 8 St. Martin-du-Fresne. Then join the D31 and D21 following signs to Hauteville-Lompnes. At Hauteville-Lompnes when the D21 turns right keep straight ahead to join Chemin de Cormaranche en Bugey and the site is on this road.
From the A42 leave at exit 8 and follow signs to Ambérieu-en-Bugey continue on the D1504 towards Tenay. At Tenay turn left to join the D21 in the direction of Hauteville-Lompnes. At Hauteville-Lompnes when the D21 turns left, turn right onto Chemin de Cormaranche en Bugey and the site is on this road
