Camping Le Vézère Périgord is a small secluded campsite set in a wooded and hilly area in the country. There are 97 terraced pitches laid out in woodland glades, with 72 for touring and 27 for mobile homes. A variety of mature trees provide good shade to most pitches. The site has a 200 m. open-air swimming pool with toboggan and a small paddling pool. The River Vézère is 300 m. away (accessed via a wooded path from the campsite). There are several small villages nearby, and the larger towns of Montignac (17 km), Sarlat (23 km) and Périgueux (25 km).

The campsite is well placed for sightseeing, and the famous caves of Lascaux, Font de Gaume, and the fossil depository are nearby. There is also the troglodyte village at La Madeleine.

Directions to Camping le Vézère Périgord

Head west on the N89 Brive-Périgueux road and turn southwest on D704 to Montignac. At Montignac take D706 southwest signed Les Eyzies-de-Tayac. Site signed on left 1 km. before Tursac.
