Le Ventadour is an attractive, family owned site offering direct river access in one of the quieter areas of the Ardèche. The river is suitable for swimming, which makes up for the lack of an on-site pool. Some of the pitches have river frontage and very pretty views. There are 115 level, grass touring pitches (some very large) which are defined by established trees and hedges offering shade and privacy. During high season, a wide range of entertainment is organised. The local area offers superb cycling and walking possibilities. English is spoken and the owners are keen to welcome more English visitors to their delightful campsite.

The river means that fishing, canoeing and water activities can all be enjoyed on site and each year the campsite lays its own sandy beach next to the river once the risk of flooding has lessened. The Thermes de Neyrac is close by offering spa treatments for those looking to be pampered. Public transport in the area is limited, so your own transport is beneficial. Some pitches may require long electricity leads.

Three modern, clean sanitary blocks, one heated in Spring. Laundry room. Bar and snack service (1/7-25/8). Fresh bread daily (June-Sept). Play area. Entertainment and activity programmes (July/Aug) including regional food tasting evenings and sports Olympics. River beach. Mountain bike hire.

Directions to Camping le Ventadour

From A7 exit 17 take N7 towards Montélimar for 20 km. Turn west on N102 towards Aubenas and continue on N102 for 30 km. Cross river at Pont-de-Labeaume and site is 500 m. on the left.
