Alan Rogers Review of Camping Le Valerick
A lovely site between Rochefort and Royan near the village of Saint Sornin. This site makes a perfect location for touring this area and the ILe D Oleron.
The site is owned and managed by Eric Vignaud and his wife and although no English is spoken, communicating was not a problem and very entertaining.
The site consists of 9 Mobile Homes to rent and a separate open-plan area for touring units and tents; all pitches are generous(100M2) but not partitioned. The site is in a lovely rural location with views across the fields, giving a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Facilities were modern and clean and housed in a central block. The reception housed a small shop and bar selling local produce and offering tourist information.
Although there is a children’s play area and the site is located ideally to access some lovely beaches, I would say this site is more adult oriented and for those wanting a relaxing peaceful break .

Small Shop on site, Bar, Takeaway food, Tourist Information, Modern Clean toilet block with accessible facilities, Free Wi-Fi, Peaceful Rural Location, Children's Playground, Choice of amp for EHU, large pitches 100m2.
