Camping le Val Joyeux is in Château la Vallière is located near the lake Val Joyeux and on the road towards the towns of Bourgueil and Chinon. This small campsite is surrounded by a forest of centuries-old oaks, offering visitors a colourful and peaceful stay in a natural setting. The location is perfect for those that wish to explore the Touraine region and is the ideal stopover site to discover the castles of the Loire Valley such as Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Ussé, Chinon, Saumur, and Gizeux.

The campsite has 64 grass pitches, of which 56 are for touring units, and has 16-amp hook-up points available. There are also 8 mobile homes available to hire. Pitches are flat and are located in sunny or shaded areas around the site. Most are demarcated by hedges for more privacy. In July/August, swimming is allowed and supervised at the Val Joyeux lake which is located 300 meters from the campsite.

Directions to Camping le Val Joyeux

From the A28 junction 27 join the D766 towards Neuille Port-Pierre and Château-la-Vallière. At the roundabout on the edge of Château-la-Vallière take the second exit to join the D959. Next turn left onto the D749 and the site is at the edge of the lake on the right off this road.
