Le Rupé is a leafy, park-like site between the River Garonne and the Canal du Midi, in a suburb some seven kilometres north of Toulouse. It is open all year round for visitors wishing to enjoy this vibrant, cosmopolitan city, much of it built with distinctive pink stone. Of the 187 level grass pitches, 70 are for tourers, many with electricity connections. Nearby is Sesquières leisure park and lake, with picnic areas, fishing and water-skiing. This is largely an industrial area, so the site is suitable for a short stay to visit the city. A convenient, free shuttle bus runs twice a day to the nearest underground station.

Directions to Camping le Rupé

South on D820 (Ave des Etats Unis), after petrol station on right, look for signs for Base Verte de Sesquières. Take next right onto Chemin Pont de Rupé, over railway and canal. Site is straight ahead on right. Or exit J12 on peripherique and follow signs for Montauban. After two roundabouts turn left towards site.
