Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Parc Sainte Brigitte
Le Parc Sainte Brigitte is a well established site in the attractive grounds of a manor house, under three kilometres from the beaches. It is a spacious site with 158 good pitches, 74 with electricity, water and drainage. Some are arranged in a circular, park-like setting near the entrance, others are in wooded areas under tall trees and the remainder are on more open grass in an unmarked area near the pool. This is a quiet place to stay outside the main season, whilst in high season, it can become very busy yet it still retains its family atmosphere. One can walk around many of the areas of the estate that are not used for camping; there are farm animals to see and a carp fishing lake will be popular with anglers.
In high season it is mainly used by families with its full share of British visitors. The nearby seaside town of La Baule with its chic shops is worth visiting as is the old medieval walled town of Guérande. With beaches nearby, this site has something for everyone.
Facilities at Camping le Parc Sainte Brigitte
The main toilet block, supplemented by a second block, is of good quality. They include washbasins in cabins and two bathrooms with accessible facilities, Laundry facilities and lines provided. Motorhome services. Small shop. Pleasant restaurant/bar with takeaway (both 1/4-30/9). Heated swimming pool with sliding roof and paddling pool. Playground. Bicycle hire. Boules. TV room and traditional ‘salle de réunion’. Fishing. Charcoal barbecues are tolerated. WiFi throughout (free).
